For those who spent time with Scott, please post those memories that you remeber that best characterize Scott... particularly his sense of humour and his compassion.
I remeber Scott driving "Old Blue", his 1965 Buick stationwagon, a car that he owned since he was a teen. For Scott, Old Blue was part of his heritage, and helped him remember his roots.
I remeber joining Scott in the driveway between our two houses... and Scott would start with me in his deep voice... "Well Verrrn..., you know..." and he'd proceed to tell me, as our private little joke, how something that was going on in my life was going to turn out. He would describe what I was doing as if I were trying to break the law of gravity... and make dire prediction about what the consequences would be... then we'd laugh and accept that he was probaly not exagerating!
Dr. Scott was a kind and compassionate man. I have worked for him for many years and he never ceased to amaze me. He was highly intelligent and he knew something about almost everything. He recently told me that he was jumping in the leaves with his children and that somehow the ground must get harder the older you get because he didn't remember that jumping in the leaves could hurt so much.
I have known Dr. Hudelson for 10 years thru his working at the Student Health Center at the Okla School for the deaf taking care of the dental needs of our hard of hearing or deaf children. Dr. Hudelson was often the first dentist our children had ever been to and his kindness and compassion will assure those children that they have nothing to fear in seeing a dentist in the future. Dr. Hudelson was a multi-talented person, and I feel that he was a man who in later years could have looked back on his life and found nothing that he didn't do or accomplish that he had wanted to do. He will truly be missed by any and everyone who knew him.
